Important Announcement 12/5/20

We are happy to announce our reopening from Weds 13th May. We will be open from 8am to 7pm to hopefully spread customers over the day and will be limiting customer numbers in the garden centre at any one time. We are unclear as to govt advice, but we will only be allowing groups of 2 and each group will be supplied with a trolley or basket. Sunday opening times will be 10 am to 5pm as normal unless govt relaxes Sunday trading rules to stop congestion.

We have some fantastic plants in flower as we took a gamble and ordered plants prior to the belated announcement. Our sources of supply have been badly served so inevitably some plants will not be available this year.

We should like to thank the several thousand customers who have used our click and collect facility in the last seven weeks. We have had our difficulties having set up a manual system from scratch. However most of our customers seem to have appreciated us doing so.

In view of the fact that we are now allowed to open as of weds 13th May we are moving most of our resources into serving customers on site safely.

We are aware that there are customers who do not wish to go to garden centres at present as they are in one of the vulnerable categories and do not have somebody who can pick up their shopping. We would not wish to forget them and are keeping this service open for them.

The service will continue to be by email only with a minimum order value of £15. There will be a timed pick up between 8.00 and 10.00 and 18.00 and 19.00 six days a week (excluding Sundays) to hopefully avoid the majority of other garden centre customers. We will not be able to provide information other than that on the web site and will be unable to answer questions on the telephone. We have learnt that this is necessary in order to provide a timely service.

There will be a limited number of delivery slots per week for those who have items that cannot fit in a car. The details are on the web site.

We hope you enjoy your garden more than ever this summer.
